Maryoku is here to assist and protect you. Every vendor is paid through us: you pay Maryoku and we hold on to the money until your event has been successfully completed. This way, the vendor is assured of being paid on time, and you’re assured that, in the event anything goes wrong, we will act as your trustee, holding on to the money until the resolution process has been concluded. That being said, please note that Maryoku is not in any way liable for any wrongdoing, problem, damage, injury, or malfunction caused by a vendor.

If a vendor never showed up, or the services rendered were not what was agreed upon in the contract, you can open a reimbursement request with us via email or phone. Life is unpredictable. We get that. Even the best laid plans can be sidelined by unforeseen circumstances. If you have to cancel your event, we will make every effort to find another planner who would like to use the vendors you have booked on the same date as your event. If we are successful, your cancellation fee will be reduced, the vendors will not lose their bookings, and the planner taking over your date will benefit from reduced fees. A definite win-win situation. However, if we’re not able to book a replacement event on that day, a cancellation fee will be deducted from the money you have paid, and you will be refunded the remainder. We rely on the pros’ first-hand experience: if they were happy, then we’re confident you’ll be happy too. On the other hand, if vendors receive mediocre reviews (3 stars or less) for more than two events, we remove them from our site and do not feature them again. Only the best for our planners!
